Logistics

The logistics infrastructure of the Rusagro group ensures reliable and predictable movement of grain and oilseeds throughout Moldova and beyond. We build supply chains from the field and elevators to port terminals and international buyers, using all available logistics solutions: road transport, railway, river fleet, and maritime logistics.

Transport Fleet

Rusagro's specialized fleet includes more than 50 of its own trucks, which ensure daily crop removal from producers, internal transport between elevators and warehouses, as well as product delivery towards ports.

During peak seasonal loads, partner transport companies are engaged in addition to our own transport, thanks to which a total of about 400 trucks are involved in loading and unloading operations.

This combination of our own fleet and stable partnerships with carriers allows us to:

- ensure timely removal of crops from agricultural producers;

- maintain regular internal trips between elevators and warehouses;

- form and accompany export shipments to destination countries.

Part of the export batches is shipped directly by road transport, which ensures flexibility and operational efficiency when working with neighboring markets.

River Fleet

The Rusagro group has its own fleet of self-propelled river barges, which is a key advantage when organizing export logistics through Danube ports. Our own river fleet allows us to:

- consolidate volumes at elevators and warehouses in inland regions;

- promptly deliver products to the ports of Giurgiulesti (Moldova) and Reni (Ukraine);

- optimize delivery costs and times through the efficient use of river logistics.

Railway and Port Logistics

Rusagro elevators have the technical capability for direct loading of products into railway wagons, which expands route options and accelerates the formation of large export batches.

The integration of elevators and terminals with railway infrastructure and the ports of Giurgiulesti and Reni ensures:

- flexible choice of routes depending on markets and contract conditions;

- efficient transshipment from road and rail transport to river and sea transport;

- stable logistics flow towards international markets.
